Clean Rivers Campaign
Pittsburgh UNITED's newest campaign is the Clean Rivers Campaign. We are working with Clean Water Action, the Sierra Club, Action United, Pittsburgh Interfaith Impact Network and many other partners to impact the planning currently underway to rebuild Allegheny County's water and sewer infrastructure.
This will be the largest public works project in our region in 50 years. We want to make sure that opportunities to use green technologies and the number of jobs created are maximized-- and most importantly, that water consumers in Allegheny County are involved in the decision-making.
