Employee Free Choice Act
Take Back the Economy!
Join us as we say "Enough!" to corporate greed and excess. As part of a national day of action to highlight the behavior of the banks who recieved federal bailout dollars.
Thursday, 3-19, 3pm
Springhill Suites, 223 Federal St, 15212, Northside
We are rallying in front of Spring Hill Suites on the North Shore because Citigroup, a recipient of the federal bank bailout is a stake holder in the Spring Hill Suites and many other properties in Pittsburgh where workers earn low wages and lack health benefits.
Citigroup got $45 million dollar of bailout funds and is putting that money towards CEO bonuses while fighting against the Employee Free Choice Act in order to stop workers from organizing for better pay and benefits.

And another demonstration:
We are holding a rally on Saturday in support of the janitors organizing campaign at Carnegie Science Center on the North side.
Saturday, 3-21, 11am, Carnegie Science Center
(Meet at Pittsburgh UNITED's offices at the Letter Carriers' Building, 841 California Ave, 15212, to park for free and carpool to the Science Center)
The janitors that work for the science center are organizing for better wages and benefits. To date the Science Center has not been respecting their rights.
