One Hill Coalition seeks benefits plan

One Hill Coalition is urging county leaders to help it secure a community benefits agreement as part of plans to build a new arena for the Pittsburgh Penguins.
 

Members asked Allegheny County Council on Tuesday to hold a public meeting on the CBA and get involved in negotiations with the Penguins and other city and county officials.
 

"Our premise is simple -- public reinvestment for a project financed with public dollars," said Paul Ellis, an attorney for the group.
